 As President of Balzan Youths F. C it gives me great pleasure to welcome you to our club's website.

 It has always been my wish to have a site that is professional in every sense of the word. Now that this wish has become a reality I sincerely hope that we can keep in touch with our supporters wherever they may be living around the world. So, wherever you are and whoever you are log on – we need to hear from you.

Without a shadow of a doubt all this would not have been possible had it not been for our Honorary President Mr. Anton Tagliaferro who not only accepted to sponsor our senior and junior squads but also helped and fully financed this site. A big thank you, Anton, from all those who have Balzan Youths at heart.

Also a word of gratitude to all our sponsors – your help is indispensable in the daily running of our club.

A special mention also goes to a number of people who have given a huge input to all the information that can be found inside ; namely Frankie Monreal, Peter Cipriott, Joseph Agius and all the rest of my hard working committee.

Last but not least, to Stephen Gatt, whose patience and dedication to this cause was second to none, and to Dr Trevor De Giorgio who always managed to find the time to help us in every possible way.

Finally, Balzan Youths F. C. looks to the future with great optimism. Now the club have its own training pitch with artificial turf. This is a venture which both myself and the committee worked for. Here one needs to mention the huge financial impact that the Malta Football Association has invested, in this and other similar projects for small clubs, throughout the Maltese Islands.

As one of Balzan Youths Sponsors, it gives me great pleasure to welcome you to the club's website.

Balzan Youths may be a small club from a small village in Malta, but it is a club that has always had great character, it has always been run with great passion  and has always been an important part of the village of Balzan.

I was a former player of Balzan Youths almost 30 years ago and I have many happy memories of my times as a player there. As an emigrant from Malta to Australia many years ago, it gives me great pleasure to be a supporter and sponsor of Balzan Youths.

This new website has been designed to enable Balzan to be able to update their fans of all the goings on at our small but very proud club.
