| The MFA Protest Board upheld the protest lodged by Balzan Youths FC on 23rd August 2011. From the facts gathered it resulted that Hamrun Spartans FC made use of Daniel Zerafa when he had a match suspension, resulting from the last match he played in the Youth League last season 2010/2011, which, according to the Rules of the MFA, he still had to serve in the first competition, organised by the MFA during this season 2011/2012. Since the game in question was the first competitive match, organised by the MFA, in which was eligible to play, then this suspension was supposed to be served in this game. The Protest Board ordered that the result of this game is to read 2 - 0 in Balzan Youths FC's favour, in accordance with the Rules of the MFA. |
