Balzan Youths FC  0 - Birkirkara FC  4

In this encounter between neighbours Balzan Youths and Birkirkara, Birkirkara emerged sure winners with a 4 - 0 result. With this win they moved to fourth place while Balzan remained in sixth place (two points behind Birkirkara). For this game Balzan had Jamie Pace and Renie Forace missing due to injuries while Jean Pierre Mifsud Triganza made his debut for Birkirkara.

this was not the day for Balzan as Birkirkara rose to the occasion and were in control of the game from the very start. Birkirkara took the lead on the 13th minute when, after a good run, Jean Pierre Mifsud Triganza served well Shola Shodiya Haruna who gave no chance to goalkeeper Matthew Camilleri to save his powerful shot from an ideal position. On the other side, Martin Deanov had two attempts to goal on the 23rd and 32nd minute. The first one, after being served by Pedrinho, finishing high and the second, a header off a cross by Anthony Eviparker, which was well saved by goalkeeper Reuben Gauci. On the 40th minute Camilleri turned into a corner a shot by Mifsud Triganza, after being connecting a cross by Jorge Santos Silva. Two minutes before half time, Birkirkara doubled the score. Silva dribbled past a defender and managed to serve Mifsud Triganza who made no mistake to beat Camilleri.

Four minutes in the second half, Balzan could have reduced the score but Nikola Tasic headed the ball just high, after being served by Clifton Ciantar. On the 55th minute Jorge Santos Silva saw his shot partially saved by goalkeeper Camilleri and Mifsud Triganza finished it home but the goal was disallowed, as the latter was in offside position. Birkirkara increased the score to 3 - 0 on the 69th minute when Haruna served Silva whose low shot, from the edge of the box, goalkeeper Camilleri failed to save. On the 78th minute, A direct free-kick by Pedrinho ended inches away from the upright. On the 83rd minute Clifton Ciantar cleared the danger off the line when Silva took a shot to goal, after rounding goalkeeper Camilleri. One minute into the added time, Birkirkara sealed the issue at 4 - 0 when substitute Michael Camilleri connected a direct free-kick taken by Shaun Bajada and headed the ball past Camilleri.
