"CHRISTMAS BUFFET DINNER"

 BALZAN YOUTHS FOOTBALL CLUB organized a "CHRISTMAS BUFFET DINNER" on Friday 23^rd December 2011 at the "LE MERIDIEN HOTEL" in St. Julians, where a good number of members, players and supporters attended and enjoyed a wonderful evening.

 During this activity President George Borg delivered a short speech for the occasion where he wished a Merry Christmas and a Prosperous New Year 2012 to all those present and to all Balzan Youths Football Club  members, supporters and sponsors who could not attend.

 President George Borg then presented Brazilian player Pedro dos Santos Calcado a Trophy that he won last year as "Best Player of The First Division for Season 2010 / 2011". This was not presented to him last year because he was abroad when the presentation took place.

 The President also gave the players, coaches, committee members and their partners a small gift to thank them for all for the work done during the current year.      

 In return the players presented a gift to the President George Borg and Treasurer Peter Cipriott and to the coaches Ivan Zammit, Robert Agius and Joe Borg (in his absence).

 The event finished with the draw of a raffle which had a good number of prizes  and most of the esteemed guests left home with something in their hand to remember this event.
